I still think about Jim from time to time. He was the first friend to pass away. I remember one day we skipped class when we noticed heavy clouds around Mt. Wilson, it was kind of cold in Pasadena and we thought it might be snowing in the mountains.
We drove up in my 31 Ford Model A and we soon were in snowfall, two young guys, no snow tires and having a blast. It was a magical moment I'll always remember, I'm sure he does too.
