Many of us who grew up in Hastings Ranch knew Jeff well. Don Benito Elementary school, Boy Scouts, etc. Jeff's family moved to Sierra Madre and so he went to Wilson Jr. High, but was back in the fold for PHS.
I got Jeff interested in Water Polo and I will never forget that on several occasions opposing team players disappeared from the playing surface after having been strategically grabbed by Jeff. He was our unofficial hit man!
His red and blue '57 Ford station wagon (with mattress in the back) tooks many of us home after school or sports, and on weekends provided transportation to the beach!
He had a knack for getting into trouble, but also getting out of it!
