Sharon was one of the sweetest and most lovely people I ever met. I was a newcomer to the mainland back in the days of John Marshall Jr High and she went out of her way to welcome the 'new kid'. Sharon, Carolynn Blanchard and I were best buds. I will always remember the Halloween party at her home on Casa Grande Ave; she and her parents decorated that basement like professionals: we were blindfolded and had to feel our way through a horrific gauntlet of creepy things: ooey-gooey pots of slimy stuff, sticky spider webs, crawly things that brushed your face and neck-, biting down on an 'eyeball', eating 'worms'---- a cherished memory.God bless you, Sharon. I miss you.
Sharon was a very special person. Her beauty and bright personality brought many people into her life. She and I were friends at PCC and through the church we both attended. She married and has a husband and two children who surrvied her. She loved the Lord with all her heart.

I'll never forget my first date with Sharon, whom I dated a couple times. We attended the same church and I took her to a nice steakhouse on our first date but this ol' cowboy (I grew up on cattle ranches) couldn't figure out why they served a scoop of ice cream with the main entree.
Never one to pass on ice cream even if it was before dinner, I popped the whole scoop into my mouth -- only to discover it was whipped butter!! There was no way I was going to admit my faux pas to a cute girl, so I "Cowboyed Up" and swallowed it whole without batting an eye!
I don't know if she detected my gaff, but if she did, she never let on! What a sweet girl and so sorry to hear of her passing. Can't wait to see her again with our Savior!
I remember Sharon as being a nice person - one of the first people who told me about Jesus - and invited me to come to some kind of meeting/get-together during high school. I thought she was about as square as they come - - - sincere but very out-of-it, man!!!
After I came to know the Lord in a personal way during college - Jan., 71 - I got back in touch with Sharon during a time I returned to Pasadena for a year or two and went to a Bible study group in her home. Seems like she wasn't married yet - but perhaps engaged - not sure.
Then we lost touch over the years and I heard she'd passed away.
I have good memories of Sharon Wenger - - - she was a lovely and gentle person (beautiful on the outside and on the inside) - a for-real Christian who lived out her faith!
Looking forward to meeting her in heaven some day - where I can thank her for how God used her in my life!
