My identity - I believe in the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross, on my behalf, for the forgiveness of my sins, and for redemption from God's wrath.
Humboldt State, 1968-74 Geology
University of Montana, 1974-77, Metallic Mineral Deposits.
I completed a career as a geologist, then Field Manager with (Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Geological Survey, 1977-2008); I consulted in Nevada as a surveyor and mineral landman; we moved from Modoc County, CA to the hill country of Texas where I am enjoying "retirement" by working as production manager for Scott-Clark (small manufacturer of hospital computer carts), substitute teaching in the local school system, staking and maintaining mining claims in the Western states, and doing contract shipping. We have our 5 children and 16 grandchildren scattered around the country. I currently play banjo and dobro in a local bluegrass/gospel band, The Bluebonnet Pickers, and scoot around Texas on a motorcycle. I have also written a little bit at http://thesensibleamerican.blogspot.com/
