Hilton Hotel Room Reservations

You can now make your Hotel Room Reservations for the P.H.S. 50th reunion at the Pasadena Hilton by clicking on the link below. You will be dealing directly with the Pasadena Hilton.

They have reduced their normal rate of $225.00 per night down to $145.00 per night plus taxes. This special rate will begin Wednesday June 20th and continue until Monday June 25th 2018.

To All Fellow Graduates,

We are closing in on our 50 year reunion and would like to ask everyone for a little help.

We would like to reach our Donation Goal of $10,000 and are over half way there.

Can we count on you for a $50, $100, $150 or more as a donation to our 50th reunion so that we can accomplish ALL the things we mentioned below and have a little help for those that might not be able to attend without a little assistance?

We are also trying to keep the expenses low for everyone with these donations.

Room rates are locked in at $145 at the Pasadena Hilton from June 20 to 25 if you need to come a day or two early and stay a day later.

Thanks for the donations!

So far 31 of us have donated over $8,200 towards our 50th Reunion. That puts us over 3/4 toward our goal of $10,000. The donations range from $40 to $500. Any amount is appreciated. Let's make the Reunion a great one by keeping those donations rolling in! Go to the Make a Donation page to see the names of donors and learn how to make a donation yourself.

We have 306 Classmates registered on our Reunion Site. If you know someone who is not registered yet, give them a nudge so they can get news and info as we approach the 50th.

 

Calling all Grads!

As you may have expected, the PHS Class of '68 reunion is going to be one phenomenal event.   

So, in order that the max number of our classmates can attend, please make sure your contact info on this website is up to date.

The reunion committee will be attempting to contact all grads to make sure as many of us as possible are aware of the upcoming 50th reunion.

Also, and this is really important, please try to find your friends and others in our class who may not be on this website.   If you can locate anyone who isn't on the website, please invite them to join and also pass along their contact info to the 50th Reunion Registration Committee members Barry Chisholm or Anne Hassell (Nelson).  You can post the info on either of their pages in the "classmates" section of the site, or use the message feature.

P.H.S. 50th CLASS REUNION SCHEDULE

We have organized a schedule and agenda for the 50th class reunion. We will officially begin on     

Friday June 22nd 2018.   We will meet at Pasadena High School at 4:00 P.M. for the removal of the time capsule that was buried 50 years ago. We will examine the contents in the school cafeteria where we will spend the evening. We will have time to renew old friendships and enjoy conversation before our dinner arrives. Old memories will come back quickly as we enjoy an In-N-Out burger just outside at their food truck. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Drinks and snacks will also be provided. We will then enjoy the "Drill Team" perform for us and a few cheers from the "Cheerleaders" and "Song Girls". We also hope to have former P.H.S. band members play for us. If budget allows we hope to have a band play "Oldies and favorite tunes" as we dance the night away until midnight. It's time to break-out the the old uniforms, letterman jackets, musical instruments, and anything else that might bring back memories from 1968.

Saturday June 23rd.  Beginning about 9:30 A.M. we will meet at Victory Park for games, fun, and food. Food trucks will be available for you to purchase your lunch. We will provide soft drinks and snacks. At about 2:00 P.M. we will head back to the hotel in Pasadena (not yet determined) for the main event. A no host bar and appetizers begin at 5:00 PM. Our buffet dinner will begin about 6:30 PM. Entertainment for the evening is still to be determined (Budget). Most of the evening will be yours to renew friendships and reminisce. Pictures and videos will be taken during the evening. Memorabilia will be on display. 

Sunday June 24th.  We will meet at the same hotel and room beginning at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM for all of us to enjoy a buffet brunch. This event will be our concluding activity for the 50th reunion. 

We are now seeking class members for help to serve on one of 5 different committees.

1) Music Committee: Make arrangements for music on Friday and Saturday evening. 

2) Entertainment Committee: Organize and make arrangements the Drill Team, Song Girls, Cheerleaders, and Band members to perform.  

3) Food Committee: Arrange for food trucks for Friday night (In-N-Out) and multiple choices for Saturday afternoon. Soft drinks and snacks will be needed for Friday night and Saturday at Victory Park. It must be noted that NO alcohol is permitted on school or park grounds. 

4) Decorations Committee: Set-up with Bulldog colors and memorabilia for Friday and Saturday. May also arrange for games and prizes for both days. 

5) Registration Committee: Arrange for all aspects of entry for the 3 day event including name badges and arrangements for photos, photo booth, and videos. 

If you are willing to serve as head of a committee or as a committee member, please let Modie or Clay know. Some of our agenda is dependent on our raising sufficient funds to pay for what we have purposed. If we are to dance the night away on Friday than the type of music will be determined by donations from YOU ! We promise to use the money wisely and for the good of all !!!
