Jacene Deratany

I currently live in Orange County and enjoy a career helping middle school and high school students in the Special Education Dept at Costa Mesa High.
I have been blessed with 10 beautiful grandchildren. My life is centered around my best friend, Jesus Christ! I am active with the Youth Dept at my church, Free Chapel O.C. in Irvine. I love walks on the beach, dancing, and bowling when I get the courage to look foolish, haha.

I have happy memories of making posters for pep rallies and games as a volunteer on the Pep committees. I remember my French teacher for the kindness and example she was for me to work with students. I have had the privilege of being taught by some amazing teachers and I strive to be that kind of teacher to my students now.
